Ovulation test – when should I test
Friday, February 22nd, 2008Many ovulation test users are in doubt about when the first test can be taken.
Firstly you should go and read the instruction manual following your purchase of your ovulation test.
If you cannot find the instruction manuals please go here
Thereafter you should keep track of the length of your cycle – i.e. The number of days between every menstruation.
Should the length of your cycle change from month to month you should use the least amount of days.
For figures regarding your cycle length, please look closely at the schedule from the instruction manual and you shall see the following :

Example :
The length of a cycle is 28 days therefore you should perform the test for the first time on day 12 of your cycle. Day 12 counts from the first day of your menstruation period. For example if you menstruate on the 3 June – then you should have your first ovulation test the 15 June and proceed/continue to test everyday – at the same time everyday – until you have a positive ovulation test.
